Meet Kevin and Anne Worthington

We both have had a passion to serve and help our clients throughout our careers. I worked as a teacher and coach and then for over 20 years worked as a sales rep. We both recently owned a franchise consulting business. Anne worked over 20 years as a Registered Dietitian in hospitals and nursing homes. Since Anne was a young girl, she has had a heart for seniors and loved being a companion for a family friend and her grandmother. I witnessed the challenges my parents faced as my mother needed to enter a nursing home where she received care for over 10 years. With our combined skills and passion to aid seniors and their families, we know that it takes more than just caring for a client. Their entire family needs to be sure that their loved one is in good hands. For this reason, we are dedicated to providing personalized care to our seniors and to give peace of mind to the family.
With Talem Home Care And Placement Services, we provide a variety of services for each individual, which may involve aiding a senior who is suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia; assisting an individual with everyday personal needs in the home, such as preparing meals and getting dressed; completing household chores, running errands, and providing transportation; or taking the time to talk and provide companionship while helping with a hobby or watching TV. Our caregivers want to provide the best care that makes a positive impact on the lives of our clients and relieves loved ones of any concerns regarding care needs.

Kevin Worthington

Kevin graduated with a degree in physical education and then began working as a high school teacher and coach. He also completed some graduate work in sports management and worked in retail as a manager. Despite enjoying his opportunities as teacher, coach and manager, he made a decision to change careers and worked as a sales rep for over 20 years. During his career as a sales rep, he thrived in providing services to his clients and received numerous sales awards. He recently owned a franchise consulting business. He worked closely with his clients to meet their individual goals and proved to be a great resource to them and his peers which reflects his passion to serve and help others. Though his background is diverse, his desire is the same to be a leader and advocate for clients in need of his assistance.
When it became necessary for his mother move into a nursing home, Kevin saw firsthand the challenges that his parents faced and how difficult it was for his dad not to have his wife at home. Through this experience, Kevin felt drawn to own a home care agency. As Kevin’s background reflects his hard-working mindset and desire to meet the needs of his clients, he is determined to provide optimal care and services and to help seniors remain comfortably in their own homes. Kevin and his wife, Anne, have been married for 13 years. He is the proud father of three precious children, Juliana (6), Josiah (3) and James (2). When he is not visiting, advising or overseeing the care for seniors, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports especially the Patriots or Red Sox or hiking.

When Anne was a young girl, a family friend recognized her compassion for her mom who was a senior and asked Anne to be a companion to her mom. Anne also cared for her own grandmother who faced many health challenges. It was no surprise to her family and friends that she decided to become a healthcare provider. She completed college and an internship and became a Registered Dietitian. During the 20 + years she worked in hospitals and nursing homes, she found it rewarding to make a positive impact on those she cared for. When she and her husband made the decision to pursue senior home care, she was excited for such a proposition.
Throughout her career, Anne was ambitious and worked very hard to achieve her goals. Patients, staff, colleagues and managers recognized her passion as a nutrition caregiver. Talem Home Care And Placement Services is a good fit for her and the experience and skill set she brings to it. She has a passion to provide optimal care and to give peace of mind for seniors and their families. When she is not assisting her husband in visiting, advising or overseeing the care of seniors, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and listening to all kinds of music.
